Sincerely, Phone: (435) 783-2867 Catering Policies and Information To ensure your requests are handled in a professional manner, we require your menu selections and specific details be finalized one week prior to your event. Proposals and Contracts: After our initial conversations regarding your event, we will prepare a proposal outlining our understanding of your requests along with the prices. We ask you to review this proposal and make any amendments necessary. Once the proposal is accepted, we will send you a contract specifying the agreed upon details along with the costs. Both parties must sign the contract. Guarantees: A guarantee of your exact guest count must be confirmed at least 72 hours prior to your event. If updated information is not received, the last number given will be considered the guarantee to represent minimum billing. Deposits and Cancellations: We require a deposit equal to 50% of the estimated budget at the time of contract execution. Prices, Service Charge and Tax: Prices listed on our menus are subject to change. 18% service charge will be added to all food and beverage costs and a 7% State Sales Tax will be added to your total contracted price. Billing: Our billings are separated into four categories: 1) Food and beverage requested. 2) Service staff required or requested. 3) Service wares, linens and specially requested rentals. 4) Service charge and tax. Payments: Any remaining charges are due at the conclusion of your event unless previous arrangements have been made. At the conclusion of your event, all food and beverage (with the exception of wedding cake) are the property of the Gateway Grille unless previous arrangements have been made with the Catering Manager and Chef. REQUIRED SERVICE FOR BUFFETS The Gateway Grille requires a minimum of one (1) server per 40 guests and one (1) cook per 50 guests. The Gateway Grille has the right to amend this depending upon the service requested. BILLING FOR SERVICE STAFF Each staff member required or requested will be billed at a minimum of seven (7) hours. Any time exceeding the 7-hour minimum will be added to the final billing. Chefs and Bartenders are billed at $25.00 per hour and Servers and Valet are billed at $20.00 per hour. ITEMS INCLUDED IN THE BUFFET All Buffets include tablecloths, fresh greens, seasonal decorations, chaffers with sterno, serving dishes, platters, and serving utensils. Additional items available through Gateway Service & Service Ware. |
